Starting with salted hides of cattle and horses, from Spain and the European Economic Community, at Curtidos Hijos de Pedro Pérez, we carry out the complete process in all its phases, from soaking to final ironing, controlling how the hide evolves at each moment in the different stages of its tanning, which guarantees the reliability of the final leather.
Our artisanal vegetable tanning process consists of transforming the skin into leather, through a completely natural process, using biodegradable products, water, and vegetable extracts of quebracho, mimosa and chestnut.
The greasing phase is carried out with the animal fat itself and vegetable oils, applied to the skin at different stages of the tanning process.
Through our traditional vegetable tanning technique, we have transformed animal waste into living leather. With use and the passage of time, it becomes more refined, gaining in quality, beauty, and elegance.
